Aceplorer is the only solution in the market that takes into account both temperature and power, using a thermal solver and DCTM package models.  This allows one to mitigate thermal runaway conditions and allows a more secure specification closure.   All design power intents are exported using the standard UPF power format for the implementation team to use.  Design’s power states are carefully analyzed and corrective action implemented such as lowering of system voltage and or frequencies.  In a large system on a chip, the complex power profiles of each IP can interplay in an unpredictable manner.  Aceplorer lets you explore the states and uncover problem areas where multiple high consumption blocks fire simultaneously.
